Privacy policy

FindBook is built around Apple's privacy primitives. This document outlines what we collect, why, and how to control it. The full privacy details are also declared in PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy on every Apple platform target we ship.

What we collect

• Anonymous user identifier (for sync across your own Apple devices via iCloud).
• Scan and quiz history, stored locally and in your private iCloud database.
• Crash diagnostics through Apple's native crash reporting (opt-out available).

What we do not collect

• Your photos. OCR runs on-device using Apple's Vision framework.
• Your contacts, location, or biometric data.

Data export and deletion

From the in-app Profile → Data & Privacy menu you can export every record we hold about you, or delete them. Deletion is propagated to our backend within 24 hours.
